Imagine What's Possible When You Love Your Music Lessons

Ukulele Lessons in Calabasas

With just four strings and a small, child-sized frame, the ukulele is a wonderful instrument choice for students who are 5 years old and up. Its small learning curve and accessibility makes it one of the easiest instruments for children to learn and a great instrument for beginning music students to start out on. On average, we get our students playing their first pop song after just one or two lessons, giving them a sense of satisfaction and reward right from the very beginning of their lessons experience!

First invented in the 1800s by the Hawaiians, the ukulele has come to have its moment in our American pop culture spotlight most recently due to famous ukulele players like Jason Mraz, Meghan Trainor and Grace Vanderwaal, the 12 year old ukulele player/singer/songwriter who won America’s Got Talent. One of the most popular instruments we offer, the ukulele is a lot of fun to play, and because of its lighter weight and smaller size, you can take your ukulele with you and play it anywhere! We’ll get you jamming for your friends and family in no time, evoking warm, happy vibes and dreams of surf, sand, sun, and relaxation.

Learn to play solo, jam in a band, create your own songs, or accompany yourself while singing – this versatile and fun instrument is perfect for many different settings and artistic goals! We offer ukulele lessons in Calabasas to students of all ages. While we specialize in lessons for beginners, we offer intermediate and advanced level lessons as well. Whether you’re starting from scratch or wanting to take your existing skills to the next level; we can custom design a ukulele lessons program to help you achieve your goals!

"I'm so happy that we found The Schuler Music Studio! We worked with a couple of teachers before this, and it used to be like pulling teeth, trying to get my daughter to practice the piano during the week. Ever since we enrolled her in lessons with you, it's been a complete 180. I love listening to her play, and I love even more that she goes to the piano on her own without me having to tell her to. I'm telling everybody about it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" - Eleonor R., Sherman Oaks
