If you’ve have a child who is naturally curious and is magnetically drawn to music, the piano is a great first instrument option to explore! The piano is a foundational instrument that provides a perfect introduction to music. For this reason, we strongly recommend the piano to students who are interested in learning other instruments in the future. Having piano lessons makes learning to play a second or third instrument much easier!

Piano is also great for young, developing musicians – children as young as 4.5 are welcomed in our in home piano lessons in Larchmont Village.

Investing in a piano can be a big decision, but you don’t have to own one to start your lessons. Many of our beginning level students take their lessons with us on digital pianos or starter keyboards. Keyboards can be a great way to get started with your lessons experience. We’re happy to make a recommendation if you’re interested in pursuing this option – just let us know when you sign up that you’d like to have that info!
