Did you know that the drums are the world’s oldest (and arguably most important) instrument? Primitive drums date back as far as 6000 BC and appear across the globe in every society and culture.

Rhythm is inside of us all. It’s in the pumping of our heart, the breaths we take in and out, even in our circadian…rhythms. Channeling that internal sense of rhythm and using it to form creative expression is one of the main focuses of drum lessons! The drums are an easy instrument to learn, and they are perfect for children who need help developing their fine motor skills, for high-energy kids, and for strong-minded kids with solid leadership skills – the drummer of the band runs the show after all!
