A full-time musician, Laura teaches and performs as a vocalist and pianist in Los Angeles. She splits her time between residencies and gigs at restaurants, hotels, and bars; writing and producing her own award-winning musical theater parodies (her second musical was even turned into a web series!); and teaching private voice and piano lessons. She feels fortunate to have so many wonderful musical experiences and feels that this strengthens the education she gives to her students as a result. Her background is primarily in musical theater and live performance, and she similarly performed in a number of bands over the years.
Laura holds her BA from CSULB and her MA from Emerson College. She has 15 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages. She is proud to be a voice and piano teacher at The Schuler Music Studio! Because she’s passionate about sharing her knowledge, she loves helping her students find their musical and creative voices. Even more, her greatest joy is inspiring her students to perform and watching them succeed!
