Yusuke (pronounced You-Skae) is a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and teacher from Japan. Growing up in a family of creatives dating back 21 generations, Yusuke chose music as his outlet at 16. He has since fully committed to working as a professional musician. Yusuke graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2015 with his Bachelors in Music and a concentrate in Music Education. He has worked full-time as a musician in Los Angeles ever since! As an active, working musician he wears many hats. He does everything from performance (both in his own band, as well as with other artists), songwriting, production, and directing. Yusuke has had many wonderful musical experiences in his career, including touring all over the world and composing original music for television.
In addition to the performing and recording side of his career, Yusuke also teaches private music lessons. He’s truly passionate about teaching and feels a deeper sense of purpose through music when he works with his students. Teaching gives him immense joy and a sense of fulfillment as he shares his knowledge and experience with his students. He believes that through music, one can learn a plethora of valuable life skills/qualities, such as discipline through practice, greater teamwork via “jamming”, constructive thinking through songwriting, coordination through playing/technique, and confidence through performance. Yusuke blends all of these elements into his guitar lessons in Beverly Hills, ensuring that his students get a well-rounded and fun learning experience!
